Over her 16-year journey in India’s music circuit, she has developed a style influenced by greats like Cyrille Aimée, Jane Monheit, Cécile McLorin Salvant, and Diana Krall.
She holds a Master’s in Healthcare Administration (MHA) and built a successful career in the healthcare industry before transitioning into music full-time. Music runs in her blood - raised by a professional singer mother and a seasoned bass guitarist father, Zian began performing in her family’s band at a young age. Her passion for jazz led her to study jazz vocals in Germany and the Netherlands, under the mentorship of Sabine Kühlich, vocal head at Conservatorium Maastricht.
Zian has graced prestigious stages such as NCPA, Prithvi Theatre, Soho House, Quorum, Slink & Bardot, Jolie’s, Bonobo, and several luxury hotels. She’s performed at music festivals, corporate events, and private showcases across India, sharing the stage with artists like Louiz Banks, Gino Banks, Sanjay Divecha, Guy Bernfeld, Joe Alvares, Adrian D’Souza, Satyajit Talwalkar, and Purbayan Chatterjee. She has also collaborated with Bombay Jazz Club and lent her voice to commercial projects for brands like Amazon, Mebaaz, and theme song for American Idol.
